Surigao Media Club prexy supports Aquino’s E.O 23

Newly-elected MASU officials
The Media Association of Surigao (MASU) President Jocelyn Ferol of RMN-DXRS strongly supports the implementation of Executive Order No. 23 signed by President Benigno Aquino III recently.

Ferol is optimistic that with the action from the Aquino administration the rampant illegal logging activities in the region will stop.

“This is the time for all of us to take actions and protect the environment,” said Ferol who is currently the Program Director of RMN-Surigao.

She is hopeful that not only the government officials will make stand for it, but the ordinary citizens as well.

“A lot has been said about this Executive Order No. 23 but the most important thing is the results,” Ferol concluded. (Susil Ragas, PIA-Surigao del Norte)
