PGMA Caravan kicks-off in Surigao del Norte

All is set as the People's Government Mobile Action (PGMA) Serbisyo Muna Caravan starts today in Gen. Luna and Dapa in Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) as lead agency, together with the other member government agencies participated.

1st District Rep. Francisco Matugas in a radio interview said more than 50 medical personnel from Manila arrived yesterday, October 12 via PAL Express in Surigao City and reached the island of Siargao via Montenegro Shipping at exactly 4pm.

The conduct of the said activity according to Rep. Matugas is in consonance with Administrative Order 159 signed by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Expanding the Reach of the Serbisyo Muna Project to include other priority Regions of the Philippines.

Medical and Dental Mission will simultaneously be conducted in the towns of Gen. Luna and Dapa while other services that include issuance and renewal of NBI clearance, NSO authentication, PAG-IBIG services, SSS online, and other line agency services will be done at PPA Dapa Port in Dapa, Surigao del Norte, Rep. Matugas informed.

He also bared another simultaneous conduct of Medical and Dental Mission in the towns of Del Carmen and San Isidro tomorrow, October 14, 2008.

On October 15, the PGMA Team will depart for the towns of Gigaquit, Bacuag, Sison and San Francisco where a PGMA Serbisyo Muna Caravan and Medical and Dental Mission will also be conducted on October 16-17. (PIA-Surigao del Norte)
