DPWH distributes Christmas ‘Bundles of Joy’ to indigents

As part of the Department’s Christmas celebration, the Department of Public Works and Highways-Surigao del Norte 2nd District Engineering Office (DPWH-2ND DEO) has distributed “Bundles of Joy” to identified indigents of Brgy. 1, Dapa, this province.

Around 20 indigents received pre-Christmas gifts donated by the DEO employees.

“Nagpasalamat jud ko ug dako sa taga highway na waya kami kalimti kuman na pasko (I am very much thankful to the (DEO) that they did not forget us this Christmas),” said Mrs. Florencia C. Esparrago, an indigent, who was one of the recipients.

“We do this every year for the needy in the spirit of Christmas,” said Mrs. Alice T. Boncaros of the DEO Administrative Section.
