Power, water services down in typhoon-hit Surigao Norte

SURIGAO CITY—Power and water services were down in Surigao del Norte as of Tuesday afternoon, where a total of 4,580 families or 21,100 individuals have been evacuated in different designated evacuation centers all over the province.
Hundreds of passengers bound for Leyte have been stranded at the Lipata Port here.
Intermittent rain and wind have been experienced by residents here.
Food packs were distributed to evacuees in Surigao City’s three evacuation centers.
