Hospital equipment worth 1 Million pesos was turned over by Mayor Alfonso S. Casurra to Caraga Regional Hospital Chief Dr. Ponciano Limcangco, during the conduct of Flag Raising Ceremony and National Flag Day Celebration last May 25, 2009. hese were donations from Fruitful Harvest – Philippines Inland and Island Ministries thru Pastor Charles Sickles, Dr. Lina Dumale and Mayor Casurra. These consist of hospital beds worth P100,000.00 each and various medical apparatus.
On his speech, Dr. Limcangco expresses deep gratitude to the donors and is hopeful for more donations in the future.
On the same event, Pastors from 7th Day Adventist Church, Eleuterio Prostrero and Noel Gerona; officials from the Adventist Community Services (ACS), Rolu Paular and Jun Galleon; also donated an initial of 28 brand new wheel chairs.
