Joint oathtaking of Caraga's mining engineers, mine safety body set on Thursday

The Philippine Society of Mining Engineers ? Caraga Chapter (PSEM) and the Caraga Mine Safety and Health Committee (CMSHC), in coordination with the Chamber of Mines of Caraga Region Incorporated (CMCRI) and the Mines and Geosciences Bureau-XIII (MGB-13), will hold a joint induction and oath-taking of newly elected officers on Thursday, July 29, 2010.

It will take place at the Hotel Tavern in Surigao City and will promptly start at 6 o’clock in the evening.

PSEM Officers for 2010-2011 to be inducted are:
Jose B. Anievas - President
Charlo R. Basadre – Vice-President
Abedee C. Zerda – Secretary
Arnel T. Pelaez – Treasurer
Renie E. Alvarado – Auditor

Elected Board of Directors:

The affair will be witnessed by the Honorable Undersecretary Jeremia Dolino of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), “as we recognize his valuable contribution to the mining industry,” said in a statement sent to PIA.

Guests from PSEM National, Mindanao Association of Mining Engineers (MAEM) and PRC Board Examiners for Mining Engineers will also grace in the event. (PIA-Surigao del Norte)
