CEB increases frequency for Cebu-Surigao flights

Leading domestic carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) will increase its Cebu-Surigao flights from four to five times weekly, starting January 13, 2010, to further stimulate the travel market in the area.

The current schedule leaves Cebu at 10:40am and the return flight departs Surigao at 11:45am every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Soon, passengers can have more options with an additional Wednesday frequency.

The lowest possible year-round ‘Go Lite’ fare for the Cebu-Surigao route is P788. Those with check-in luggage will just add P100 upon booking.

“We are very happy to be able to add more flights to our Surigao route, since this can help stimulate tourism and economy in the area. Our guests now have more options for their Cebu Pacific flights, and can maximize our extensive domestic network and schedule to connect to other destinations after Cebu,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution, Candice Iyog.

CEB flies to a total of 32 domestic (including Surigao) and 14 international destinations. This includes direct flights from Cebu to Davao, Bacolod, Iloilo, Clark and Kalibo (Boracay).

“We encourage our guests to take advantage of our payment center option in the website www.cebupacificair.com for convenient booking of flights. Now, even those without a credit card can book flights online and pay via CEB partner banks,” she added.

For more information on CEB flight schedules and trademark low fares, check out the website or call the reservations hotlines (02) 7020-888 or (032) 230-8888.

Asia’s third largest low-cost carrier, CEB has flown over 36 million passengers since its inception in 1996.
