Zest Air resumes flights to Siargao, Surigao City next year

Alfredo Yao’s budget airline Zest Airways Inc. (Zest Air) plans to resume flights to Siargao Island and Surigao City this January of 2010.

Reports revealed that the airline's flight from Manila to Siargao will commence its operation on January 16, 2009. Flight Z2 378 is scheduled to leave Manila at 1330 arriving at 1515 in Siargao-Sayak Airport. The return Z2 379 flight is set to take off at 1545 landing in Manila Domestic Airport at 1730 which operates every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The airline will be using its brand-new 60-seater MA60 aircraft from China.

Also, the Manila-Surigao route operates its four times-weekly service every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday starting January 17, 2009. Flight Z2 370 departs from Manila at 1330 and arrives in Surigao at 1515. The return flight Z2 371 leaves at 1545 and reaches Manila at 1730.

At present, Zest Air flies to Caticlan, Busuanga, Calbayog, Catarman, Marinduque, San Jose and Virac from Manila. It started flying new routes to Iloilo, Legaspi, Naga, Puerto Princesa, Davao, Kalibo, Tacloban and Tagbilaran. For more information, visit www.zestair.com.ph. (Surigao Today)
