SURIGAO CITY - Mayor Paul Dumlao is currently in Nairobi, Kenya, attending the UN-Habitat Assembly, marking his visit to Africa — his fifth continent to date.
In a social media post, Mayor Dumlao expressed pride and gratitude as he represents Surigao City on the global stage. He will be sharing the city’s efforts on multilevel governance and its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through its Voluntary Local Review (VLR).
“Mapasalamaton karajaw ako sa oportunidad na ma-share ang kalamboan nan Surigao City sa iban nasud. Excited sab ko maka-learn sa iban na mga nasud,” the mayor shared in his post.
His participation is at no cost to the government, underscoring his administration's commitment to responsible leadership and global collaboration.
