A 3.4 magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao City at 5:32 p.m. Saturday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
The undersea quake occurred 123 kilometers northeast of Surigao City at a shallow depth of 13 kilometers.
