SURIGAO CITY (Sept. 28) - Kinse ka mga mining companies sa rehiyon ang nahilakip sa mga girekomendar sa DENR nga isuspende human nakumpleto ang gihimong pag-audit.

Gianunsyo ni DENR Usec. Leo Jasareno ang listahan sa mga 20 ka mining companies sa tibuok nasud nga girekomendar sa pagsuspenso sa usa ka press briefing kauban si DENR. Sec. Gina Lopez.

Gikataho nga ang komon nga kalapasan sa maong mga mining companies mao ang siltation, abog, walay tree-cutting permits, ug unsystematic mining methods.

Kining maong mga mining firms sa Caraga ang adunay show cause order ug gitagaan sa DENR ug pito ka adlaw sa pagtubag.
