SURIGAO CITY - A 35-year old man who is tagged as the
number four in the watch list of illegal drugs personalities in the city was arrested by
the police operatives of the Surigao City Police Station (SCPS) during a buy
bust operation in Purok Mariposa, Narciso Street, Surigao City on Aug. 14,
2016.
The police identified the arrested drug
person as ALDEN MAGARBIO ALMEÑANA, alias “Kidong.”
Seized from the suspect’s possession and
control were one plastic sachet of suspected shabu bought by the poseur- buyer
from the suspect with an estimated weight of .05 gram with Dangerous Drugs
Board (DDB) value of P590.00 @ P11,800.00 per gram; several assorted drug
paraphernalia; two open transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu
residues; 11 transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated
weight of 3.5 gram with Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P41,300.00 @
P11,800.00 per gram; P500 bill bearing serial number EX311354 marked money; and
cash money amounting to P550.00 in different denominations.
The suspect is now temporarily detained at the SCPS while formal charges for violation of Republic Act Number 9165
are being prepared for inquest proceedings.
